Router Annoyance

Got a new router for splitting broadband connection between pc and the 360 but now every time I boot the pc up the internet connection starts up etc but I cannot connect until I disconnect and reconnect my connection, I'm guessing it's something to do with the order they load up in maybe but is there any way to fix it as it is really bugging me now?

What Router? My d-link did this, I had to renew its IP lease all the damn time.

A firmware upgrade fixed mine.

Do you know what firmware you have installed? It will tell you somewherwe in the router config page.
