Hi - I am considering buying 2 sofas from sofasofa.co.uk, there is some good and bad reviews on this site so it may be risky? Does anyone happen to have a voucher code for them for discount? They have a voucher code entry option on checkout on the site.
Hope someone can help!
Thanks in advance...

I bought suite form them last year
all in all okayish experience and when there was a problem with one of the sofas -loose section in leather not a problem they collected repaired and returned fairly efficiently
we did go to one of their showrooms for a look as not too far form birmingham
only nightmare was a delivery - normal procedure they tell you which day coming as they seem to do two day drops from wales
driver calls you ahead to let you know coming within next hour or thereabouts and confirm directions if necessary
on one occasion they phoned, to say close by, then rang again (later found out problem with directions) I did not get to phone in time - sorting out children for bed
if anyone has discount let me know as they ahve one of their seasonal sales on and would not mind an even more discounted sofa for family room makeover (turnign it from desk jungle into office / spareroom)
sat waiting for them to arrive kept trying to phone back mobile number of driver now gone 11pm waiting for them to turn up
eventually got hold of driver next morning to be told couldn't find you we are now back in wales - absolute *@~)*IJU* very cross we were!!!!!Baby Milk Action is a non-profit organisation which aims to save lives and to end the avoidable suffering caused by inappropriate infant feeding.0 -
Yes I'm not sure wether to risk buying without going to the showroom. I am around 100miles away you see. Looking in my local DFS etc, the sofa's look nice but some are dissapointing when you sit on them, i.e hard and not comfy! So it's a bit of a risk....
Any more feedback on sofasofa or codes?Mortgage Free Wannabe Light Bulb Moment (Early 2012, started May 2012)

Very happy with our sofa and chair. We went to showroom aswell but did this when we were coming back from our weekend away as there isn't one near us - closest was Birmingham.
Delivery was late though, it was gone 8pm when it arrived but OK.**BERTIE**Did you Know: It costs more than £325,000 a day to run the lifeboat service? (with no government funding) Please donate to the RNLI0 -
we ordered our sofas from their website, and have had no problems with them0

Are the sofa's hard to sit on, i.e hard sprung of softly sprung? Perhaps it depends on the sofa type? What has everyone got so I can look and get a comparison....

Hi I read the short forum on sofasofa.co.uk sofas and chairs The forum is a year old, has anyone got anything more to add about the quality and comfort of these sofas. Also can anyone recommend a good online company which manufacture sofas. Thanks0

Dont wast your time with sofa sofa. My brother bought a sofa from them about 2 yeasr - really poor quality, and they are now thinking og replacing it already. Cushions loose their shape etc.
I also live near the showroom in cardiff, and went to have a look at them when we bought our house - again thought they were really poor quality. its worth paying a bit extra and getting good quality sofas that you will not need to replace in the not too distant future. Go to your local independent furniture retailers for best quality sofas. We did, and now very very pleased!0 -
I ordered a sofa from them, got a call from the driver at around 10pm to say he was around the corner. Didn't arrive till 11:30pm! Not pleased at all!!0

I was just ready to order one then thought I might look for a code,Then came across this thread.
I dont wanna waste my money(who does),but ive got to be practical.Ive got 2 little uns and there gonna be 3 grown ups on these sofas.
please can anyone give advise as to whether They are really cost effective.I dont wanna (well couldnt) replace them after just a yr or so.
I have got to spend about up to 800 pounds on them.
I dont wanna go to the likes of DFS ect as these sofas are made with wood that wouldnt withstand our needs.
I thought these sofas where ok from SS ,and that they were just discounted as there are no shops ect.I dont want a discounted sofa its its of pooer quality.
Im really confused now,but we just desperatly need a sofa or two.
Any help gratly recieved.
Kellyp....where may I ask did you go to eventually to get ur's.
also where would you find the independant retailer, ive searced the net for my area, but to no avail, and I dont drive and cannot get someone to take me anywhere,as ive a child with a disability, who wouldnt go to a shop really,so I have to go and look for one within 4 hours shopping time.
thats why I thought if i got it off the internet but dont wanna be crying my eyes out in a few months having done the wrong thing.0
