Rescuemycar.com breakdown cover

I've just taken out cover for £31 at rescuemycar.com. I didn't realise (like a lot of people) that I would have to pay £40 evertime I called for help. You must always have your bank card details to hand when you break down. Exchanging my bank card details are not going to be the first thing I'll want to chat about if I'm stranded at the roadside somewhere. I've gone and done it now though I guess. Does anyone have any experience of this company?

    Hi mizfiesta

I'm sorry to hear that you've purchased the wrong type of cover for your needs.

We'd be happy to upgrade your policy to a nil excess product for a small additional charge if you'd prefer? Details of our nil excess products (incl. pricing) can be found via our website.

We only offer the excess based product via Moneysupermarket.

Please be assured that our first priority would be your safety - only then would we discuss collecting any excess due at the same time as dispatching an recovery agent to assist you.

Please give us a call on 0800 0199519 should you with to discuss upgrading your policy - or any other points from your policy.

    Many thanks
    Sarah
