help! IE error message & trojan

I can open up most pages on the internet, some keep coming up lost connection, but mostly fine, however, i can not open tesco online card servicing. I keep getting a message "internet explorer detected an error and must close" message - it then keeps recovering the tab, and coming up with the same error.
Last night, AVG flashed up on screen as identifying a trojan agent2.arz.
Ive run a full avg scan and it picks up nothing, even tho the trojan message has flashed up again since. when it flashed up initially, i was working on a spreadsheet which ive had on for ages, and my hotmail was open.

Ive run, spybot, malaware bytes, ccleaner, avg but still can't get rid of it or open tesco card.

ive ie 8 and use windows firewall. i'm not very technically minded!!

Youve already posted that youve had a trojan. So you might have made things worse by running a system restore

Could you please post the malwarebytes log i asked for

It doesnt matter ~ heals fine though

Download MALWAREBYTES (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD NOW')
    http://www.download.com/Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware/3000-8022_4-10804572.html
    UPDATE and FULL SCAN
Post the log here AFTER youve deleted everything it finds

done the full scan - nothing detected. unable to post log as i got the internet explorer message "there is an error with this and must close", then it said "DR watson de!!!!!! - error must close". ive tried to open malware since, and it keeps saying its running - even tho there was nothing open, and nothing showing when i did ctrl, alt delete.
  • It's IE8...it's rubbish I got that all the time when I installed it.

Use FIREFOX whilst we work through to see if you are still infected or not

Open Malwarebytes goto LOGS and post the WHOLE log that you ran on Tuesday

Then run COMBOFIX (Follow the simple instructions it gives)
Post the WHOLE log here when its done (Split into sections if need be) using Firefox

Are you on AVG8.5? As I believe theres quite a few problems with it yet

ok, ive installed firefox. isnt it quicker than ie?!! when i open logs on malaware, i get a message "the file does not have a programme associated with it for performing this action. create an association for it in the folder options control panel". What do I do for this?
I tried to open my tesco online using firefox, and it went thru to the log on page no problems - i didnt go any further tho ie keying in my details. does this mean that the problem is with internet explorer? thanks for your help so far, you're a star!!

edit, have just tried to open the log again, and i get the internet error message then dr watson one.
