Advice on changing car radio-Nissan Note
Hi,
I own a Nissan Note 2006 with a factory fitted car radio, I would like to change this for a shiny new bluetooth/mp3 etc... compatible fitted one.
Any advice/tips on how to do this? Will I need to purchase any adaptors or will this be pretty straight forward.
I really would like to keep my steering wheel controls.
cheers.

I thought you wanted advice on getting rid of a Nissan until I re read the title...0

http://www.fitaudio.com/?View=entry&EntryID=147 shows how to remove it but the Note does not appear on any of the fitting adaptor databases that I have tried. Keeping the steering wheel controls is unlikely to be available on a Nissan.0

I have sorted it now.
For others who may want to change their Note car radio. Most major brands like Sony, Kenwood, JVC are a straight swap with the ISO connectors.
To keep the steering wheel controls the adaptor costs approx £20 - £40 part number PC99-X70, its acutually works on the micra also.
Cheers for the replies though.0 -
Did you find a fascia plate to fit ? Strange how none of the databases list it. I see it has a european set up on the wiring rather than the normal japanese.0

No fascia needed on mine as its the SE not SVE with cd changer.
All i did was go to halfords and get them to tell me what I needed, obviously will shop elsewhere to save money.0 -
Hi, I have got the four screws out but the actual stereo unit refuses to budge, was it just remove the four screws and it should slide out?0

I found a guide here: how to remove nissan note stereo 2006 but it has no info on facia adaptors. I've googled it and can't see anything either.0
