I'd never thought of joining in on this, but having read what everyone else has managed I thought I'd give it a try too!
This week's tasks:
1) Sell the bags which are cluttering up my wardrobe on Ebay
2) Have a "no grocery spend" week - we have a freezer full of food so all we really need is milk. Cannot go the whole hog as have to get petrol and pay for sedation at the dentist tomorrow
3) Call the card companies that I said I would call last week and arrange the balance shuffle.
That doesn't sound too hard, does it...?

My goals for this week
1 Sort out claiming back charges on Student Loans
2 Pay off some money on one of my credit cards
3 Sort out some free stuff which could make money on the car boot sale
4 Sell stuff on ebay
Hope to achieve all four by Friday at the latest

For selling (and buying!) books....if you can't find what you want to sell on Amazon you can try this website as you can just enter in the title/author I am sure.
Good luck!!Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.
Sainsburys Loan: Cleared July 2010
Credit cards: AMEX Airmiles Card: direct debit set to clear balance monthly

Hiya,
Last week was pretty bad and I ended up spending a lot of money which I could really have done without.
Anyway, from last week!
Doing a spreadsheet is a good idea, so I will have a go at that.Oops, spent too much time on here, and no spreadsheet
Taking a lunch into work with me every day and not go to sarnie van.
I managed that one really well, and when I take lunch in with me, I pop £2.00 in my tin, so I have £10.00 instead.
Walk to town when I need to go, rather than spending £1.00 on a single trip to town.
Yes, but got bus home as i had bags and bags of shopping and my Father wasn't around to blag a lift.
See how much I've got put away for my Dads 65th birthday pressie (mini cruise)
Counted it all up at the weekend and I have accumulated £35.00. Long way to go, but not bad.
My goals for this week.
Try to go at least 1 day without spending any money.
Walk in to town again, and save bus fare.
No take aways!
