Hi everyone, didn't do too well last week, but have made a start in most areas...

    1) - List my items on Ebay - Have relisted three items that didn't sell last time, but have yet to list anything new!

    2) - Help OH list his items on Ebay - No, haven't done this as he hasn't sorted out what he wants to sell yet.

    3) - Have ordered a printer to get CV's and job applications sent off quickly (only had once a week access to a printer before), so want to get at least 4 applications sent this week. No, only managed two, but I did attend an interview on Friday, so fingers crossed for that job.

    4) - Pay £2 coins into savings account. Yes, paid in £20! Woohoo.

    5) - Have a few books to sell, so will have a go at selling on Amazon. I've registered and listed two books so far. Did have a couple more to put on, but it wouldn't let me as they weren't in Amazon's catalogue, so will have to put those on Ebay.

    6) - Research business idea - have had an idea for a part time business which I could do in conjunction with a full time job. No, didn't manage this, but I will be visiting my Mum next week and we will do some research together as we were thinking of going into partnership with this idea.

This weeks goals will be (considering I will be at my Mum's for most of the week):

    1) - At least three job applications in this week.

    2) - Research business idea while at Mum's house.

    3) - Pay £20 in £2 coins into bank, then transfer to holiday spending money savings account. Try and get one more £2 coin.

    4) - List a minimum of 5 Ebay items.

    5) - Get back on track with diet as have been slipping back into junk food snacks and have had two takeaways this week. :o

That will do for this week!

As previous posters have said try vistaprint for your buisness cards. They also do labels.you only pay P&P & can keep it down by not having the most expensive option.
    Good luck.

well done everyone, you've all done brilliantly this week :j

my first week went like this

to find & work out how to do a spreadsheet very many thanks to Pixie for sending me a spreadsheet! It's all been customised to my outgoings & was much easier than I imagined!

to make 2 big batches of soup in my sc & freeze in small portions failed miserably on this one, but I've cooked all our meals from scratch this week so am I forgiven!?

to not spend my tesco clubcard points on food but to get a deal with them (probably magazine subscriptions, I know its a luxury but I love reading them)
have ordered 2 magazine subscriptions & have saved lots of money. Now I won't be tempted to buy them in the shops & it'll be something nice to look forward to in the post! I'm saving the next clubcard points for 5 National Express coach tickets so we can all have a day out :j

to make my first DMP payment, hooray! all done & have filled out DD form for next months

Also joined the grocery challenge & had 5 no spend days :j

    So for next weeks challenges

Have to make a second appointment with CCCS due to my recent income change to go through the budget again

Make the soup I should've made last week!

Work out a menu plan for the month

Do lots of cooking to fill the freezer

    Find some more £2 coins!

    Best of luck everyone :j

Ever wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.

Didn't do brilliantly last week, but here's how it went!

    1) Add to £2 club £24 added - brilliant!!
    2) Try and have 3 no spend days Only managed ONE - not so brilliant!
    3) Do daily spend sheet (does this include things like petrol, mortgage payments etc - or should this just be for incidentials? Managed to do daily spend sheet, but didn't like what I had spent!!
    4) Make sure OH joins in with both of above Is trying but not as enthusiastic as me - carry that on for 5/3
    5) Pay my friend the £30 I owe her for buying her freezer!! Should have done it before, but haven't had chance to see her - too busy reading MSE!!! Paid friend money owed - yippee!!

Looking at above, most things were achieved, the worst was my daily spend - total amount for week £363

Will try harder this week - aims are:

    1) Continue to add to £2 pot
    2) Continue to encourage OH to save in pot (although he now says that I have so many pots to save in that we haven't now got a pot to p*** in!!!!
    3) Reduce my daily spend - have allowed myself £10 for the week for non-essentials, but will try and reduce that
    4) THREE no spend days.

Good luck to you all! ;)
