I hate being the centre of attention like that (hey, it's taken me 12 years to be brave enough to get married!):o we are going out for a joint meal with a few close relatives/friends the evening before the wedding, so that's it.Cross Stitch Cafe member No. 32012 170-194 2013 195-207.Hello Kitty ballerina 208.AVA 209.OLIVIA 210.ELLA 211.CARLA 212.LOUISE 213.CHARLEY 214.Mother & Child 215.Stop Faffing Completed 2014 216.Stitchers Sampler. 217.Let Them Be Small 218.Keep Calm 219. I'm going to have at least 2 (ouch!!!!)

2 - my MOH is only arriving from USA the Wednesday before the wedding, therefore on the night before we are going to a rugby league match (which she as always wanted to see) with other friends coming from across the world - going to see my mighty Saints demolish the pie-eatersthen have a couple of drinks around town before hitting the sack to get ready the next morning
3 (maybe) - will be with just my work colleagues - few drinks around town
with this being my second marriage I didnt want all the fuss of a hen night - but never had one last time (well apart from a few drinks at the pub down the road) - therefore Hubby2b as said I'm defo having one
let me say now though - im dreading all 2/3Got married on 1st August

Going to "Go Ape" in Thetford Forest during the day (wooooohoooo!!), and out for cheesy music in the evening
That's as it stands at the moment, nothing is booked and we're planning on doing it on the 8th of May.....so we'll see what happens!!
Hi snugglespants
Your hen night sounds wicked, let me know if you don't know Norwich very well and I can make a couple of suggestions where to go if you like.
I'm a big fan of the cheese by the way!

I'm having two
1) Night out in local city in July. This will be a chance to get friends, work people etc all together for some drunken giggles. Best friend Bridesmaid is organsing this. OH will go out for a night in his old home town.
2) Two nights in Dublin in August, two weeks before the wedding. 8 of us going (me, mum, her friend, my three bridesmaids and two close friends) Sister Bridesmaid is organising this - everything booked now, yay! OH will be going to Amsterdam for the night
Can't wait!

I've already had one down in Leeds with sisters, cousins and friends, just a posh lunch which was nice. My Edinburgh one is next weekend and is an afternoon tea party.Got married 23rd May 2009, many thanks to all on the Weddings and Anniversaries board for their help and support!

This is starting to become something so impossible to decide on for me.
OH's nan wants to join in on the action so alot of the possibilities have been ruled out. We had thought about an exec box at the dogs or a night at a bingo hall but she is against all forms of gambling, due to the age of some of the party a night hitting a club will also be ruled out.
I am not one who enjoys a lot of attention so a day at a spa is a no go.
Looks like a nice meal out with plenty of vino on the cards unless my maid of honour can arrange anything which everyone can join in with.:j Was married 2nd october 2009 to the most wonderful man possible:j

I don't know! My bridemaids have organised it and i have not been told whats going on!! All I know is that food will be involved at some point (I have problems with blood sugar and need to know when i will eat lol!) and that I have to wear 80's gear. Oh and the date too heheh. The other thing i know is there will be no stripper as they know I would be so embarrased and get the first taxi home!
I'm looking forward to it0
