You want to look for a TV with a PC input. I have a huge flat screen sony that comes with a PC input which we use to watch iplayer, etc.
If you don't already have one, you will also need a cable (they used to come with old monitors but recently I have noticed that the cables are hard wired into the back of monitors).
Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!

I wasn't able to find anything on Argos's website but I found this
TV/Monitor on Comet's website
http://www.comet.co.uk/shopcomet/product/513962/SAMSUNG-SM933HD/tab/specification
I'm not suggesting buy it, it's just an idea on what to look for
My b/f has an LG one, he mostly uses it as his PC monitor, but he
recently hooked it up to a digital aerial and it worked
Most of the
PC /Monitors have freeview on them, not sure if that is any use to you

Could be described as VGA or possibly 15 pin D-sub. That's for the analogue style of PC input.
The digital style of computer input may be described as DVI.0 -
With regards to the cable required you will be able to get one from your local independent computer shop for a few pounds.0

Don't forget - it's important to find out what connection is on the back of your graphics card.
This connection depends on what TV you can buy! What graphics card does your son have?0 -
I have found an amazing TV at an amazing price!
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/143850
Its a Samsung with a 3 year warranty and has all 3 PC connections so:
VGA>VGA
HDMI>HDMI
DVI>DVI
Basically any PC could be plugged in + It is stunning to look at.
I can't see anything better and I can personally vouch for the company and I am many other will aswell.
Hope this is what you are looking for.Have my first business premises (+4th business) 01/11/2017
