tesco clubcard deals/hotels

hiyas has anyone used there tesco clubcard vouchers to stay in hotels?
im thinkin of using mine to stay in a hotel in newcastle but lookin at t&c there seems to be lots of rules etc.

is it easy to sort or would we be beter payin cash and usin deals for other stuff.

We have booked with the Hilton using our Deals Vouchers to stay in Leicester (relative visiting) and it was simple.

Get your clubcard vouchers changed to the deals vouchers first then ring up the number for the said hotel and tell them that you want to book a hotel in conjunction with the Tesco's Deals Vouchers the date, place etc etc

I had 5 days for them to be in possession of the vouchers (even though it says 7 on the site), sent them via Special Delivery.

Done and dusted.
