Hi
Not a expert in this bit. Please bear with the explanation.
Just taken out car insurance with elephant after my previous insurance providers (a broker) renewal quote was absurd.
Now when i took out the cover i put down 1 years NCD as i have 1 years private NCD (which i've just earnt) and 3 years Company car NCD.
Now my previous insurer (the broker) accepted company car ncd.
I asked for my proof of NCD to be sent through which they duly did. This is my problem: The proof states i have 4yrs NCD. I'm hoping this means i can get on to Elephant and get them to reduce my premium.
What do you think?

May be, may be not.
There is a small chance if they ring and check it that they will come back and ask for a big additional premium.
You could always ring them for a quote and explain it, the chances are the person you speak to will say its not a problem as they are on bonuses for converting policies. The call will normally be recorded so there is no come back0 -
The problem is i have already purchased and paid in full for a full years policy!0
