I made a £650 internet booking at the weekend. As far as I knew my husband
& I were joint account holders (married 33yrs), never been overdrawn and pay off the balance monthly.
That evening the card company rang my hubby on the housephone and his mobile, to confirm that it was indeed me transfering the money. I was a bit annoyed as it was a surprise holiday, but they said if he'd done it they would have called me.
Can anyone really not notice (even with mail going missing) money going out of their account at such a rate?

banks they are dammed if they do or dont hehe, the money wasnt coming out of the bank but off of cedit cards through the hole in the wall and as they had all been completly paid of he wasnt receiving statements from them, as he is a cabbie everything is paid in cash he just wanted the cards incase he needed a one off big spend, we wish they had phoned him to check it was him taking the money, my bank put a stop on my cash card once after a few unusual internet purchases...got carried away when i first joined e-bay lol, the money that is supposedly in thailand(i dont believe it is as she blew the first lot in the bookies) is according to her in her sisters a/c so he cannot get access to it, she is now saying she has paid for her family to set up a business and the money is tied up in that, hopefully as soon as the baby gets her passport she will go back to sort this out but i'll believe that when i see it !!!!
hope you both enjoy the holiday all the same, shame the surprise was ruined tho x x x0
