is there anything i can do about my pc line scanner not compatiable with windows vista?its saying only for xp,me,2000 etc

Have you searched the make/model of the printer for updated drivers?0

yeah,it wont update,just says not compatiable0

try to install the driver from device manager and while installing the driver it should ask if you want to look for the drivers on the internet and it should find them automatically
Any generic TWAIN driver, which should be included contained by Windows, should be fine for this scanner.0
