Help!!
I have recieved an over payment into my bank account each month for the last year. I have notified my bank, they gave me the details to contact the payee. I have sent them a letter and yet not heard from them and still the money keeps turning up.
What are my rights? I do not want to be seen as the quilty party as I have done everything in my power to stop the payments.

Dont spend the money as contrary to belief it never becomes your money. My advise would be put it aside into a savings account until such times as you are asked for it back - any interest earrned on it you should be able to keep.
There isnt much else you can do short of closing your account which is far more hassle to you than anyone else0 -
I have had lots of problems changing banks in the past so yes we will not go down that road again. We have started the process of putting it into another account for Payback Day!!!0
