Static caravan holiday in Cornwall. Ideas?

Hi everyone.

Looking for a week's holiday in cornwall (probably on the south cost bit- cos we want sun) in a static caravan. I've looked through a lot of websites and can't find anything wonderful. There are just two of us. Any recommendations? I usually prefer to book on recommendations, and all your MSE-ers are the best.

Try Hoseasons or Haven, Hoseasons will give you a discount if there are only two of you in a van, they both have onlline sites https://www.Haven.co.uk and https://www.Hoseasons.co.uk.

    Try Sea Acres

One of the best views I've ever had from a caravan. A bit remote being near the Lizard but only 10 minutes walk down a hill to a nice beach. Within driving distance of flambards if you get a wet day.

This is a view from the small golf course on the camp:

Thanks, guys. I did find the Sea View one and it looks great- but at a price.

I suppose I should have said we are on a tight budget! I think a max of £250 is what we would like to spend for the week. Is that going to be possible? Also we want somewhere quiet and relaxing (I am starting to feel like a grandad- and I am only 30!)

    Thanks so far...

Yeah, it's not the cheapest. We booked about two weeks before we went, and IIRC it was highly discounted.

if you look out of the kids summer hoildays you sould get something with haven .they also do camping i think out of season about 20 pounds a night. if you have a tent or can borrow one .i have been looking for summer hoildays and camping then is 33 pound per night per tent. so that is still pretty cheap .as we live in cornwall we will be going for devon but prices are about the same .

Thanks for this. Unfortunately, we're both private music teachers so we have to go in the summer hols seasons and so up goes the price. :-(
My wife gets allergic in tents for some reason- her asthma and so we think a static caravan would be better. I have found some caravans for £200-£250 but not sure about them. Will keep trying.

    Thanks.

Another link for you to try:
http://www.cornwall-online.co.uk/accommodation-camping.htm. [despite the title it does show caravan parks.

If you want south coast, there are quite a few around Looe & Polperro area.
