Medion ppc250 + Navigator 5.1 - it works?

Guys (as i concede my inferior species seemingly are more techie!lol)

I have an Aldi medion ppc250 or (md41800). Up to recently I was very happy with the software preinstalled - medion navigator 3.1

My girlfriends cousin returned his MDPNA250 to medion for a warranty repair and as they were unable to replace the screen, they sent him a whole new unit..including no cd's (though he never sent his originals back, in the first place) This is where I got inquisitive... would they (V5.1) work on my ppc250?

I transferred the installation cab to the memory card and duly tried to install it but it keeps reporting "not installed successfully, please run set up again" I do but still no change. I have tried a hard reset but still the same...

Q)Ok guys, my ppc250 runs pocketpc2003 o/s , does this version need win ce or something?
Q) Has anyone gotten this version to work with their ppc250?

Have you tried installing direct from the cd using activesync??
