Sorry , bvasic thing but can`t work it out. I want to do BACS from A&L to Halifax. How do I do this?
I tried the transfer but can`t put my halifax details in. Do I need to ring them up to arrange it like a DD? Surely there has to be an easier way.

You set it up as a bill payment rather than a transfer - then it will let you put in your Halifax account details. It will go by faster payments too if it's not a sizeable sum, so you should get it in your hfx account the same day.BR 08/04/09 | ED 02/10/09

On your internet banking, there should be a way of making a bill payment0
