Zante, Corfu or Rhodes for two 18 year olds?

Two girlfriends want to have a week together in early September, good beach, good watersports, and nightlife not on Falaraki scale. Any recommendations pls?

I know you say not on the Falaraki Scale, but me and my then fiance (now husband) went there in 2004 when we were 22, just after all the horror stories were on the news (we didn't actually see them til after we booked!!)

We weren't goinf gor the night life at all and We stayed in a hotel out of town, and had to haggle a lot with the manager to get one of the "german rooms" (they all get the nice ones).. but we did, and had a lovely time.

There is a HUGE water park there, which we spent 2 days in and we hired a car and treked around the place and went to Rhodes (the town) Lindos and a butterfly place..

There was also a water sports place directly behind our hotel.. (I'll find which it was and post later)

We went to a few of the bars slightly out of town which were nice.. and got to know some of the bar men.. who unfortunately really dint like the british at that time, but we talked them round that we weren't all that bad!

What I'm saying.. is consider it.. but definitly do your research on trip advisor first!
