You might have heard of the dialer scam where your modem is programmed to dial a premium rate number at £1.50 a min.

I have no problems finding it(left side on site) but I am unlikely to use it as it duplicates all that I currently have. This is not to say its no good or anything else, just happy with what I've got. I'll be interested to here if it works for others.

BT have released some free software that alerts you any time your computer attempts to dial a premium rate, international or non-approved number. Full details here:

It is being launched in Northern Ireland to start with, so the BT website asks for an NI number in order for you to download the software.
