Liability insurance? help/advice please

I wonder if anyone can help me by directing me to look for insurance, not quite sure what we need.
A voluntary group has set up after school club in a local community, running Education classes from Monday to Friday between 5pm to 6.30pm, upto 110 children between age 5 to 15. Where we rent 6 rooms in a building where classes take place.
We need some kind of Liability Insurance if something happens i.e accident or whatever. I am not quite sure what kind of insurance that is.
Any advice/help will be appreciated.

When you say volunteers, can we assume that at least some of them hold formal qualifications to do this sort of work? There must be at least 12 of you if you have 6 rooms (to avoid one to one situations) and so the HASAW act will apply as well as the need to have employers liability insurance, even though they are volunteers.

Then you will also need public liability insurance in case a pupil is injured or another user of the building. It is likely that abuse covers will be excluded but some insurers will offer this as a buy back cover if you have robust child abuse policies in place.

You are certainly looking at a 4 figure sum for this and are probably trading illegally if you have not at least set up the employers liability cover already.
