Never done this before, but do realise that it makes a heck of an amount of sense to back up all my "E drive" data files.
Problem - No idea how to do it.
Query - Is anyone able to advise, giving step by step instructions, because to be honest I am well and truly flummoxed!!

Safest way is to copy from the E: drive to a floder on C: (File/New../Folder from Explorer), then use Nero to burn the CD from this.
You could copy directly from E: but might have problems if it's USB1 and you try to burn at too high a speed. Pretty much the same process though - just select all from E: into Nero.
(or is it that you don't back up any of the the C: drive either..?)0 -
ManAtHome - you are correct in assuming that I don't back up anything at the moment. I really need to get into a regular pattern of backing up, but don't have a clue where to start.
Any tips from anyone very welcome.0 -
Bunker Backup Is supposed to be a pretty cheap & VERY secure way to backup your data.Women priests. Great. Now there's priests of both sexes I don't listen to - Bill Hicks.0

Open Nero, Click on Help and all is revealed, or Click on Help followed by 'Use Nero Express' which is the easy mode.
 Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
I'm using Nero 7 for this.
Make sure your Pendrive is plugged in.
Open Nero Smartset, select Backup, Backup Files, a new window will open NeroBack2, click Next, Select Existing Files & Folders, this will then take you to another window, all your drives on the left, and all the folders on the right. Open up the drives and find the files that you want to backup.
Once you've ticked what you want to backup, click Next, It will then ask your to Select Target, this is where you select your /dvd/cds, it will also ask you for Backup Type, and Name, then Select Next, and click Backup and away you go.
I've never tried this on a Pendrive but I don't see why it won't work.
Hope this helps0
