Dvd recorder - how do you add freeview channels?

Hi

I have a Panasonic dvd recorder which is freeview - just come to set it for Red Dwarf over next weekend but its not on the channel 19 which is according to radio times Dave?

Mine says uk bright ideas?

Do I need to do some update to add channels?

Any idea how to do that, cant find the instruction guide anywhere typically!

If it is the Freeview box you want to update. Just do a scan.

Do a ccomplete new scan rather than an add new channels scan to give it a good old clean out. They're called different things on different machines.

With the forthcoming switchover, next month here, they keep moving channels, e.g. Film 4 has moved this past week.

So do a full scan as suggested, also now have a new "Gold" type channel. (Can't remember name).

Thanks everyone - have done a full scan and have now got added channels - Daves on 12 which is weird as says 19 in tv guide but least I can record Red Dwarf Fri!
