Advice needed regarding my situation in a rented house..

    I feel for you and don't really know much about the legal stand point but if you are hit with the bill at the end phone and explain the situation. Sometimes this can really help and they might allow you to set up a seperate payment system that isn't part of a monthly bill system. Most companies these days would like some money rather than none and if they have to go down the route of court action it can be expensive and will only end up in there being some sort of payment scheme set up anyway so I would assume they'd be happy with this - but as said no experience on this one!

    If your new property is supplied by EON or you can change it will make it easier. However, if this is not possible you can still have a payment arrangement.

    The important thing is to keep talking to us. Let us know what is happening so we can work together.

    Once you know your new circumstances I would suggest giving our credit management people a call on 0115 843 4315. Explain the situation to them.

    Realistic payments made on a regular basis are always preferable to chasing balances through other means.
