I currently have a Apple ibook G4 and am in the process of getting a Apple mac mini. Is there a way to copy all my 2000 songs on the ibook to the new mac mini as I am going to use it as a media centre with eyetv
Thanks

If the ibook has wireless you could set it up on a network with the mini and just drag them over to it. other options would be to copy the songs to a cd/dvd or maybe external hard drive and then put them on the miniWelcome, rogerramjet.

Use an ipod as a moveable hard drive?"Cheap", "Fast", "Right" -- pick two.0

When you first boot up your new Mini it will ask you if you want to copy files from your old computer - connect the iBook to the Mini with a firewire lead and it will automatically copy everything - music, pics, files, plus all your existing prefs and settings to the new Mini.
(if you don't want to copy everything to the mini, once it is set up you can start the iBook in target disk mode - switch mini on and connect the iBook via firewire, then start the ibook and immediately hold down T until firewire symbol appears on iBook screen - the iBook will appear as an external drive on the mini desktop and you can drag over any files you want to put on the mini)0
