If you play games and want to open torrent ports then I think the netgear is best, cas its so easy. The d-link is cheap and works but much more experience is needed when opening/forwarding ports.0

Hi T4i
Coincidence, as I was just surfing about which of the two would be better for PS2 gaming, and was starting to think the Netgear looked better! Definitely not up for opening/forwarding ports (yet), so I think it'll be the Netgear. Many thanks for confirming.

There are 3 versions of this netgear router

I'd try and get v2 or v3 if you can - the V1 ones tend to be silver & much bigger, but you can't tell that from the pictures..

If you are likely to go wireless in the near future, get a WR model

Hi albertross
Many thanks for the total. I hadn't checked the postage amount; was just having a quick look on Ebay first! Great price, especially as'd thought it would cost a lot more to buy a decent router. Many thanks again for links.
