Now you have your consolidation loan PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE cut up all credit and store cards (AND CLOSE THEM) so you do not get into this mess again. Believe me some of us know this situation all to well.

PS Do the same with youir overdrafts too! (or whatever you are paying off!)

Did they slap on payment protection insurance? You can usually get it removed easily within 30 days if they did.

I understand where you are coming from. I think it was the way you said it that could be interpreted as being 'off handish'. I was not aware of an SoA and other members might not have been, yet it takes the tlc and lol to give you confidence in wanting to ask and find out more rather than running back to sticking your head in the sand.

I asked whether this would affect the decision..whether I would be more likely to be accepted if I agreed to it but they guy said no. To be honest he was really helpful and saw that even though my financial situation at present is not stable..after the three month payment deferrment I would be better off and comfortably make my loan payment.
