Power cuts and disk check?

Hi
we keep getting lots of 2 second power cuts here (don'tknow why).Of course its always when I'm in the middle of something on here
The thing is when I reboot the system always wants to disk check which is a bit tedious every few mins.
Do I really need to let the disk check run after every one of these short power cuts? Don't want to harm pc but not good at waiting..lol...
any ideas?
thanks

Windows knows it hasnt shut down correcltly so it does this to ensure the disks are ok. If you have had a power cut and it boots up wantint to scan I'd just skip it.

"Zone Alarm has blocked internet access to your computer from (UDP Port 1026) from 65.204.123.182 (UDP port 16085)"
I've had about 10 of those in the last hour or so.....Stop looking for answers....
