Lelli Kelly Shoes

I recently bought my 2 year old daughter a pair of lelli kelly shoes.
They cost me over £40.
When i looked at them in the shop, they seemed to be covered in sequins, shaped into flowers, and looked to be stitched on really well.
She's been wearing them for just over 2 weeks now, and after taking them off yesterday, she passed one to me and i took hold of it. However, when i did, one of the flowers stuck in my hand and cut me.
When i looked at it, they arent actually sequins, but metal shapes and it was bent over, making it really sharp.
A couple of the others were also bent.
The shoes are now unwearable as they are really dangerous.
The shop have already said they wont refund them.
Is there anything i can do?

Speak to Trading Standards - it sounds like the decorations are dangerous and that the shoes are not suitable for sale, let alone for a child.0

And the manufacturer spends so much money advertising them on childrens TV too.0
