                    Hi,
To find out that your child has a sydrome literally knocks the wind out of you.
This happened to me when my son was confirmed with Down's Syndrome not long after birth. The advice and support of the Down's Syndrome Association (downs-syndrome.org.uk Registered Charity No. 1061474) was a great help in lifting the fog.
I want to give something back so I am fundraising by running the Great North Run in September.
I have set up a justgiving page - justgiving.com/robertwheatley - and any contribution is gratefully received.
Also, any tips on fundraising would also be gratefully received.
Cheers,
Rob
