If you register on the travelodge site then you get advance notice of the cheap rooms. I am spending 5 nights in London next week for £9 a night, but booked ages ago. Keep checking though as some more rooms may become available for June.
Where do you get cashback from?. Last year was fun when, due to a mistake, we got £3.60 a night back instead of 3.6%. That made it £5.40 a night. Pity that`s been fixed.

Travelodge is like easyJet, so the lowest prices are only usually for a few customers. There is a chance they'll launch a sale again, but conversely the risk is that the £39 rate will sell out and be increased before you do. Does it say whether the £39 rate is a 'sale fare'? If it is and it's acceptable to you, book it now while you can. If it's an 'ordinary rate' rather than a sale one, it should be available later so you can wait.
  • hi the 39 is the saver rate they are offering and the cashback is through cashback kings.....may wait a week then book it if no sign of any sale or offers as i wouldnt want the price to go up....thanks for the replies tho x

Travelodge rates can go up overnight, so be careful if you do decide to wait.

Formule 1 is the lowest-grade in a chain of hotels run by the French Accor group. The next 'rung' is Etap, followed by ibis and Novotel; all can be booked through accorhotels.com. Formule 1 is generally a low-grade motel with shared bathrooms, which explains its low popularity among British travellers, but anything Etap and above is generally ok, and because it's a chain they're pretty standard across the board.
