What have you spent today? 4th March

HI everyone :j

Well my laptop is nearly fixed, Im now able to turn it on but Im still infected by a nasty winfixer virus  I have some kind of techie anti virus update disk on its way to me, so hopefully i will be clean again soon :D

Well I have a lovely weekend planned, one which Ive been looking forward to for weeks. My Sis is coming to stay with me for the weekend :j We only live 30 mins away from each other but due to problems between my folks and I (Sis lives with olds still), work commitments and life just been too busy we dont get to spend as much time with eash other as i would like. We speak to each other at least once a day and email each other all day LOL She's my best buddy - i love her to bits.

So today she is treating her little sis to a manicure, pedicure and facial. This does sound very expensive but she recieved a coupon from our local college and we so were are both having these treatments for a grand total of £15 :T

After that we're going to collect hubby and go for a lunchtime drink  and then we are spending the rest of the weekend listing EVERYTHING that moves on ebay :T my sister is an ebay queen and since she discovered turbo lister she's got even better at it. So we are going to go through every room in my house and clear out all the things i dont need, maybe evn a handbag or two :( We are then settling down to a night of Buzz and nasty saturday night tv (VOTE FOR GAYNOR!! :D )

Ive put a chilli in the slow cooker so we wont be buying food or anything like that but I will need to go to pound land for some jiffy bags.

I will check in later on and let you know my full spend for the day, sorry this had been such a long post but Ive missed you guys :j its been horrible not been able to post here.

I hope everyone is sticking to their budgets, take care and have a wonderful weekend.

  • well, another no spender planned for today here too! Might do some painting and cooking with the kids today, but otherwise not going anywhere or doing anything.

I'm tempted to get the Saturday paper so we've got a TV guide for the week, but REALLY don't want to spend anything ....

Unless something crops up, I won't be spending anything this weekend - huzzah :D So I'll be up to 5 no-spend days this week!

I don't need anything, the cupboards are full, cars got petrol in it, I've got baccy and all is well in the world! Going to spend tonight at home curled up with a cat or 2 and watching tripe-tv and tomorrow just catching up with washing etc - not very exciting... but cheap ;)

    Hi Fairylights,

Can you download the tv guide from somewhere? Not so handy, but free!

Pixie - we've really missed you - glad you are back! Have a lovely day today, it sounds like fun (always wanted a sister :j ) - you deserve it with the rough time you've been having at work and making your first DMP payment.

I am spending not much today. I was supposed to be meeting a friend for lunch in Edinburgh but she's cancelled. Also maybe going to a craft fair to check out the competition, but I don't know if I can be bothered. If I do go, I've got my train ticket (monthly pass) so I'll just be spending the entry fee, which hopefully won't be much and I'll take my lunch with me. OH has a gig tonight (plays in a band) so I might go along and watch them but I'll get in on the guest list.

Oooh I'm so tired after making use of the cheap listing day on eBay yesterday. I listed 36 items which was good for me. I could've listed more but was running out of time. I also should've got to grips with turbolister too - but haven't quite got my head round that yet.

    Anyway, sorry for the ramble

  • It should be another No Spend Day for me today...but we shall see :p Have a meeting at 11 am but it should last no more than 1/2 an hour and the coffee will be free - hooray...roll on the meeting.... hope there's lots of really nice Choccy Biccys too. This afternoon will be pottering about in the garden - how wonderful :D

Back again.... well there were some free biccys... but very mediocre I must say... :D hee hee. Stopped at the local shop as I needed some milk so spent £1.19 today... all told a quite traumatic day :p

I do have the radio times on my bookmarks, but it's nice (I need to get a life) to be able to have it all on paper and circle what we want to watch - that way we can plan our dvd nights around the telly - MUST GET OUT MORE!
