I spent ages looking through design until I found a few I liked.
I really like this invite, but they've left off address for rsvp as you're also expected to buy acceptance cards with envelopes:rolleyes:. Be careful with the sizing on a single sheet like this, to ensure you have room to note rsvp address etc (unless of course you're including something with your address on etc).

I really think you could make them. Get the card from ebay or somewhere similar, ribbon from haberdashery shop, lots of double sided sticky tape and print them on your home computer. I recently made mine and am really pleased with them, they cost £10 to make 50. I got the card blanks from ebay, along with the inserts, I stuck on some diamantes and printed them on my home computer. I think they'd be easy to make too - just have your ribbon ends under the front card to hide the join, and chose a nice font to do the front. You could get some really nice quality card to print on too, at a fraction of the cost of these.0

hi,
ordering a sample is a great idea as you can deconstruct it and see how it is made up. This is what I did when i have been making mine and i too had never done anything like this before either.
I went to the paper shop (they are online too) and asked the staff to help me. I explained what i was wanting to do, they showed me what i needed, how best to approach it etc and hey before you know it i had my first one made and it is so cost effective. The only thing i would say is it is time consuming and sometimes a tad boaring but it saves cash and when you admire your hard work you'll be pleased. I personally think it also makes you wedding more personal and the little touches are what counts. I am considering having my inserts proffessionally printed at the moment though, have to see what it costs though. Just make sure you use good quality card and nice envelopes as they can make the cards look more expensive and add the final finshed touch. My theme features hearts and i will put a little heart on the back of the envelope seal, little things like this finish it off. Good luck and enjoy it x0
