i downloaded the demo. it seems ridiculously hard. i say that because you can be going along fine but the other vehicles still fly past.
it all depends on the vehicle you use. i find that the rally car and buggy are the best vehicles to use.

I used to play Motorstorm, but for some reason my disk don't work no more
I don't play racing games much nowadays, I tend to enjoy FPS games a lot more. I love it when I place in the top ten out of 32 players.

IMO the best online game on the PS3 is Bad company...its awesome

I still haven't used my copy of that for Online play, but I love the single player version. The characters are great :D

If you settle for anything less than 1st place on every game you're not doing well ;)

Playing CoD5 with a 40+ lead over the person in second place is something to be pleased with.

Motorstorm takes some getting used to because of how fast it is and how hazardous the tracks are. But it's not that difficult. You just need a bit of practice, which goes for nearly every game out there. It's probable that you weren't using boost (X button) effectively or at all either, which is absolutely essential if you want to win races.

For the record, I own both a PS3 and Xbox 360. Currently the main game that I'm playing is Motorstorm Pacific Rift. Fantastic game.

just had a couple of goes on multiplayer on killzone 2. to say i struggled is an understatement. its a million times harder than anything i have played before on multiplayer(halo3, unreal 3, cod4). actually perhaps it isnt any harder than gears of war online. i had a go at skirmish against bots and then had a go at bodycount online. i will try resistance 2 online next. i hope that is easier.

Resistance 2 online is good, up to 60 players in a game. Yet I find that Killzone 2 is miles better. It's a bit hard to get the hang of to begin with. You can't go rushing round like you can in other games. It's more slow and carefull. If you rush round, like I still occassionally do, then you tend to get blasted to bits as you pass round the corner.
  • HMV DO TRADE IN'S ON GAMES
My hubbie got a PS3 for xmas (it mainly gets used as a blu-ray player) and he got loads of free games with it that he already has on x-box. He asked me to take them and get them traded in for a voucher....I happened to notice HMV had just started to do this. He got £160.50 for 12 games (1 ps3 game the rest xbox360) he got between £7 and £22 for each of the games. I asked for it on a couple of gift cards so we can use them as presents or keep it for ourselves. So if you have any old ones lying around and dont have anyone to swap them with.......get trading.

...ohhh and when i got home and asked him how much he was expecting to get trade in he said "about £40, £60 if I'm lucky". His jaw hit the floor when I told him the actual total. If only I hadnt been so honest, I could have kept the £120 difference.
