Applying for the same card twice

i applied online for a RBS credit card and in my first application something went wrong towards the end and it terminated theapplication so i applied again and that all went through and said i should have my card in the next 7 days (its been 5 working days).
i noted down the application number and then on wednesday i recieved a letter for me to sign and send back to apply for a card and the reference number is the first one i applied for the one that got terminated.
should i apply again and have two of the same credit cards and technically a bigger credit limit?
do they let you do that, has anyone else got two of the same cards?
could i get rejected if i apply again?

you can only have 2 cards with rbs bank (but up to 5 within RBS group companies) so if you applies for a 3rd it would decline straight out.

No idea. You will only know if you sign and return both
