Had to laugh at all the 'firemen' talk.
My father and grandfather were both in the Fire Service. Sorry to burst your dreams but real firemen don't look like the calendar pictures.
Well that's my little fantasy done for :eek:Proud to be dealing with my debts0 -

I had some little tiny splatters on a top once from cooking a tomato sauce and they wouldn’t come out so I sewed sequins over them and put more sequins randomly over the whole top – it was a plain top transformed into a nice sparkly one! I wondered if something like that would save your top from the bin!
It seems to have come out after treating with soda crystals but thanks for the suggestion Rosepink :A0 -

Well done MOJ2 for doing the holiday thing on your own...that''s a hard call when you've been half of a couple.
And well done Soappie for obsessive and precise listing...
DS has been on here most of the day sniping and shooting apparently...
today I have
scanned PC
changed blown lightbulb
cleaned bathroom level 3
pegged out washing
brought it in
draped on maiden
pegged it out again
brought it in again
made potato hash with suet dumplings (I have a 15yo to fill)
made double batch dumplings and boxed half up for freezer
phoned sis and arranged to collect DD later, hopefully M1 will have cleared and surrounding roads be less affected
Taken DS to GFs
Booked dental check up for DD
Prepped for Friday errand
Still to do
Kitchen
iron washing (manly tea towels from work and a duster)
been on washing line or whirly thread - peg matching and perfect (in the hanger's opinion) line hanging is a national obsession :rotfl:thriftykatie wrote: »Well that's my little fantasy done for
I came over all unnecessary.:rotfl:
