Yes, your BT line rental, normally £11.25 per month with Direct Debit and Paperfree Billing, can be reduced to just £5 a month if you use a BT Credit Card. Using this card can give you this discount from your BT phone bill. The card allows you 1p for each £2 spent up to £250 each month, and a rate of 1p for each £1 spent over £250 in any one month. You are allowed a discount of up to £75 in a 12 month period. So that brings down the BT line rental to just £5 a month.
In fact I have made up my full £75 within the first 6 months because I use the card for most purchases and it soon mounts up. You don't have to make any claim. The amount gained each month is on the credit card statement and then you see that amount taken off your next BT phone bill. All very easy and painless.
