FM Transmitter on Nokia N85

I've been at it all week now trying to tune my Nokia n85 to my car radio and cannot seem to find a free station.
Can someone please help the car i've got is a vauxhall corsa which has the stanandard cd/radio player installed. How can I tell if a frequency is clear?

Sorry for sounding soo dumb but i've never had the need to use the radio before always listen to cd's so this is something new for me.

    Put your car radio to manuel tune and do it that way.
    Spending my time reading how to fix PC's,instead of looking at Facebook.

    As above... I was playing with my New phone today with it. (LG Arena).

    Just put your car radio onto manual... something like 87.5 works (that's what i used anyway in my area).
