Hi all, sorry if this is the wrong thread.
I posted some photos on a web site and now my original photos have the website logo ptinted on them and they are a quarter of the original size!!
I have posted photos before and this has never happened.
Does any one know how I can restore my photos to their original size and without the logo.
I have tried everything!!!
Thanks for all replies.:o

If by "restore" you mean remove the website logo and make your pictures bigger again, the former might be possible but time consuming, and the latter is easy but might not look very good. Don't you still have the photos on your computer?
Give GIMP a try. It's Photoshop for people with no money.0 -
Thanks for your reply Marty J.
That's the big problem!! The original photos on my computer have the logo and are tiny now!!!!! Can't understand what happened
I have had a look at GIMP, unfortunately I can't seem to download it and don't know what they mean when they talk about mirrors.:smileyheaMagenta0 -
You can get GIMP from here:
http://downloads.sourceforge.net/gimp-win/gimp-2.6.6-i686-setup.exe?use_mirror=
If your photos have been shrunk, they probably won't look very good if you make them bigger.0 -
Thanks Marty, just getting the logo off would be something. Hope fully I will be able to do that with GIMP, I will try your link.
As you say, I can blow them up but they don't look good..:smileyheaMagenta0 -
Which site did you upload them to?
It sounds like you must have downloaded a piece of software to prepare and upload them. That should not have overlaid the originals - are you 100% sure that you don't have two copies. Try a search on your PC.0 -

If you download picassa from Google it will find all the pics on your PC & sort them, hopefully your originals are in there somewhereNumerus non sum0 -
Hello Farway, while this thread is current please tell me how to get a photo into a message on this forum. I have never managed to work it out. Hope you don't mind my asking.0

You need to upload the photo onto the internet somewhere, like onto Photobucket, Flickr, or Picasa. Then once you have a link to the image, you do it like this:

Kwikbreaks- yes I did download software from them to upload my pixs:mad:
Fairway - Thanks I will download Picassa from google and have a look to see what that brings up.
Anyone got a direct link to picassa?
Thanks all.:smileyheaMagenta0 -
