I'm in my 5 month 0% anniversary period and have transferred my available balance to a savings account.
Question. Can I apply for another C.C. and transfer that limit to Egg and then to my savings account.

Only BT's done during your anniversary month will be at 0%.

Any BT's you make in months 2-5 will be charged at 15.9% APR (typical).

Any BT's you make in months 2-5 will be charged at 15.9% APR (typical).

And any payments you subsequently make to your card will be paid against the cheapest balance first - thus incurring you a load of interest

For instance - if you transferred £3000 during your anniversary 0% period, and then another £3000 in the following months at 15.9%....

And over the next 4 months paid off £750 a month....

All those payments would go against your cheapest balance first - ie the 0% - so the £3k at 15.9% wouldn't be touched and you'd be incurring interest on it each month

So to cut a long story short - now you've got a large BT at 0%, don't use your card at all!
