Smile ISA interest rate cut...again

Smile are reducing the interest rate on their Mini Cash ISA to 4.5% from 4.65% from Monday 6 March. I must've missed the BoE rate cut that prompted this latest one . Considering they cut it by 0.35% at the last rate cut which was more than the BoE cut itself.

Think it might be time to move the cash elsewhere.

Got out last time & moved to Yorkshire Building Society @ 4.9%. Not quite top whack but I couldn't face the Halifax's customer "service".

I've stuck with them for years but, now agree, it's time to move.
    A&L at 5.2% looks attractive.

Am I missing something? Although A&Ls is 5.2% that's with a bonus of .7% which means that next year it goes down to 4.5%.

No you're not. But next year is another year, I'll take advantage of the bonus now while it's available. Anyway, there's nothing to stop moving again when something better comes along. ;)

KRBS always seem to maintain top rates with no gimmicks. https://www.krbs.co.uk

This is not advice - hopefully it's common sense..
