I said in a roundabout way that I was not happy with the final settlement figure and as I had been sold the policy between 2002 and 2004 I felt as though I had been mislead and wanted all the money I had paid them back - I enclosed the letter they had sent me offering me the 460.00 and addressed it to the ECM DEPARTMENT - Ealier posting advised this - I also enclosed a copy of your posting of 3/9/06 and stapled it to it - reckon that done the trick - I hope you get it all back too - I will let you all know if I was successful as soon as I see the money go in my bank - I just hope I am not counting my chickens etc !:rolleyes:0 -
I wrote a letter to AXA complaining about the advertising. Had my policy for 3 years and they're going to give me a full refund into my bank account. With 20% off the bonuses. Will let you know when I get it!0

dunstonh wrote:When you complain, you are complaining about the advice given. If you didnt use an adviser, then the best you can hope for is an error in the marketing documents. In AXAs case, there was an error and anyone purchasing one of these in that period when the error existed is very lucky as they will get their money back. Outside of that period, its your own fault for not taking advice (that is how it is viewed).
Hi what date is the period you mention? i have 1 of these policys
thanks0 -
It's always worth reading past posts. You only had to look a couple of pages back.
But just for you
The link below mentions the key dates you need - ie did you buy the policy between February 2002 & January 2004?

:rotfl: What an unrepentant shower they are :rotfl:
I've got a collection of 5 such AxaSunLife mailings from West Bromwich BS, even though West Brom were involved in that mis-selling era. I checked out the commission and it was heavily front-loaded in the West Brom's favour - excellent news for West Brom executives seeking to hit their generous bonus scheme targets . Not so good for West Brom members.
