Natwest Credit Card increase limit

Hey, I got a Natwest Student Credit Card (£500) my first credit card im wondering how easy would it be to increase the limit, because I use my card to buy things and always pay it off in full (I've got a few thosand in Natwest savings and Isa)

Natwest student credit card has a maximum credit limit of £500 so you can't increase it.

Oh darn I just thought you phoned up and asked or something. seems this is a special fixed card then

Hi There,

My friend had a Natwest Student CC and he got periodic increases. he went from a start limit of £500 to £1200 limit at the end however he is ofter offered increases and kindly declines them.......

I used to have a Natwest Student Credit Card too, £350 limit, have been using it for years but they always refused to increase the limit, saying that "there is no facility to increase credit limits on student credit cards".

However, a few months ago while paying in a cheque the counter staff aske me if I want to apply for a credit card. I asked am I recommended for? He said yes, led me to another room and completed the application, with £1200 limit.

Maybe this is the way - get a standard Credit Card with Natwest?
