local garage/mechanic guide

is it possible to set up a 'sticky' so people can recomend local garages/ mechanics/tyre depots that they have had GOOD service from,I know we have local money threads and vent heaven sent threads, but I thought it would be a good idea to have one here in the motoring section to save buzzing around the various areas,

There used to be a website around which tried to do something similar.

One way around the spamming is to put up ones to avoid.(Obviously with constructive reasons to avoid). That way if someone searches google prior to using their services the thread will come up. Not sure if there's legal issues relating to defamation etc though, even if the concerns posted by people are genuine.
