Hi,
My husband has been made redundant and is receiving what I thought was contribution based JSA. I was orginally working 6 hrs a week and receiving £225 per month, but now have had my hours decreased to about 3 a week and my last months pay was £125, and this is what it will be from now on.
Because of this we have filled in the forms for Income based JSA and gave them in on Tuesday. On Wednesday we had a payment in for just over £155.
My question is would they have automatically treated us as Income based as my earning and my husbands JSA were below the £94.95 per week threshold.
We are both over 25 and have 4 children with no other income, not even tax credits at the moment.
Thanks in advance,
Kirsty
