I dust more in the summer as it shows up mor in the sunlight0

We have two purple and black dyed ostrich feather dusters and the kids and I use those once a week in various parts.... sometimes we skip a week.... or more. But the feather dusters life stuff up and it means we don't have to use polish etc. My dd does use polish on the two wooden tables as she likes to - orange glo sprayed onto the cloth and not the surface! The glass bits get cleaned once a week by ds when he does the living room surfaces - especially the glass protector which is sticky from glasses and food being placed on it. Although less now he cleans it for some reason - he can see a point to coasters now0

My mum and dad caught me out last time, they phoned me 2 hours before visit, I ran round like a blue arsed fly trying to tidy up and she still said "I don't know how you can live like this" ok flat may not be have been perfect, chewed things (sofa, furniture etc) due to my little darling rats, new computer box on bed but I just said to her "I knew you were going to say that" also "if you don't like it you know where the door is!"
Slightly off subject there!! I dust when it needs it ie every 2/3 weeks or maybe more0 -
I try to dust at least twice a week, if I'm busy and only manage once a week then you could write your name in the furniture. I suppose a lot depends on how much traffic there is in the house.0

You obviously need a holiday ... my house is available for house swap. Feel free to bring your dusters though as I am not sure I can remember where mine are.0 -

cant believe some of you rarely dust! nightmare ! cos when you finally get round to doing it it would make me sneeze / cough etc : (
better to do it before it builds up to that stage IMO lol0 -
I usually do it once a week. I really should take everything down and do it properly more often but I don't. We live in a really dusty area, especially in summerwhen we don't get much rain. I've just started using the microfibre cloths too and they are fab.Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.0

When my mum was alive, I used to make a fuss about how hard I'd worked to get the house clean and tidy before she came. I didn't do much BTW, but just made her think that I had gone to some effort.
A friend told me that she told them she didn't feel she could critisize after I had said that:T :rotfl:Cambridge Weight Plan Consultant0
