Hiya, we are getting married June next year and want to book our honeymoon asap, but unfortunately next summer’s holiday haven’t been launched yet L
I work for one of the main tour operators and the way it work is, they will launch the summer 2010 season(May – October) in two halves. First is the long haul destinations, that will be on sale at the end of this month, the rest is released at the end of June.
We are planning on going to the Maldives – cant wait!!! :j0 -
Luckily my mate is a specialist travel agent, so the current plan is 3 Weeks in Thailand, few days in Bangkok, then a week in a 5* Spa hotel, a weeks travelling, and back to Bangkok for a few days, sounds extravagant but we dropped 60 guests from the wedding guest list in order to help fund the honeymoon.0

We were going to go to the Maldives, Its top on my dream location list, however, twice when we have looked at going, the travel agent has told us that its not really worth going out of season (our summer) due to the amount of rain, its reflected in the price too, you can go for a couple of grand in June/July but if you want to go when the weather is far better (Nov-March) it can cost significantly more.
We are going to the Dominican Republic, same resort we went to 2 years ago and the same 2 weeks as well, the back end of the holiday pushes into hurrican season however when we went 2 years ago, we only had a very short spell of bad weather (less than a couple of hours).0 -
We're going to Disney too!! But then we're following it with Miami. We couldnt book more than a year in advance, and then i got preoccupied with other things so we booked in Nov for an August 2009 wedding. I cannot wait. And no we dont have kids either, but i'll be first in the queue to give Mickey a cuddle lol0

me and my h2b want to goto bora bora.. but it might take a few years but we were thinking of possibly cycling up to the north of scotland and back.. stay in a few hostels (cheap and effective) bring our own food supplies and money (cheaper again!), i stay in cedntral scotland. falkirk.. so you can imagine thats quite a distance.. but here's the thing.. its an adventure for the both of you, you get to brush up on map skills, its a hell of a work out and you both get to see some amazing views together and erm if the mood takes.. have a quick honeymooner's frolic in the woods :P lol
then we thot of maby having a hotel for the weekend or something nice and relaxing, but you never know what could happen between now and later lol!:exclamati:female:choose life, choose to save money, choose to search higher and lower, choose martin lewis and rock the F**k on!! \\mm// :female::exclamati0 -
Well, H2B thinks we are having a long weekend in London, with maybe a day trip over to Paris (I had to wangle us needing passports somehow!) :rotfl:
But really we are having a week in Austria (am telling him on our wedding day) cost £270 for flights and £400 for accommodation (which my parents are paying for)
Can't go away longer as it will be hard enough leaving my kids for a week, let alone any more than that.Cross Stitch Cafe member No. 32012 170-194 2013 195-207.Hello Kitty ballerina 208.AVA 209.OLIVIA 210.ELLA 211.CARLA 212.LOUISE 213.CHARLEY 214.Mother & Child 215.Stop Faffing Completed 2014 216.Stitchers Sampler. 217.Let Them Be Small 218.Keep Calm 219.
