Cathy, I just hope it's not famous last words and would so advocate being a snooper now and again! I had big chats with DD, particularly regarding the person on here who had been less than honest which led us on to the broader issues, plus there have been lessons at school.

The sad fact is that the person she fell prey to was incredibly manipulative and knew all the buttons to push emotionally to hook her in, from the photo he had used to the lovey dovey mush and beyond. We all can fall for a charming line at any age, and this person was an expert while a thirteen year old girl having a rough year is like a rabbit in the headlights!

I hope it never happens, but I now know I would much rather be safe than sorry.
