Well, perversely, good it's just her though; I'd hate to live in someone else's shadow like that. Only ever met one boyfriend's parents though. That;s one thing with dating older men; I'm likely to have a MIL who hates me for the age gap and because I'm not as wonderful as someone else he'd been with before...

Nothing sad about crosswords, least of all when they're for comps!!

Morning all, at this early easter sunday morning,

OH has gone off to work, so in bed with my laptop watching a film,

(((Hugs))) PP, with my mil I can not do anything right, even though I have been married nearly 16 years, think sometimes they are put here just to annoy us.

yeah just her and dh's sisters, they are the same, dh hardly talks to them, they have slagged me off in the past and he had a major blowup with them with the things they were calling me, i am civil to them now and thats all

Happy Easter Sunday,
W've been married 31 years and MIL still thinks I don't look after him, will only phone and talk to him, dosen't like the way I do things etc tec!!!!!!!!!!!! We just tend to laugh about it and get on with life now. My kids are going to shoot us if we turn the same. Big ((((Hugs)))) to you all.

And, despite my warnings, they've stolen 2 pizzas and a 3-pack fo Magnums from my section of the freezer despite me bagging everything up. I'm going to eat my way through the entire contents of my freezer, then steal some of his, and never buy anything to store in the fridge from now on. They've had about £8 of my £13-odd haul from yesterday.
