help with holiday,wedding destination

hi all
i have been posting about getting married and my quest keeps getting deaper and deaper!
we were looking to have a beach wedding,but my parents will not fly so it will have to be somewhere where they can ferry/drive to i have searched all the options of spain,which we cant go as it will not be legal,france you have to be there for 40 days before you can marry.
so we are running out of options
we then thought of italy,but how would the easiest way my parents could get there,im not a traveller,this year will be the first time abroad for me,so im not to clued up about travelling
we need advice on the best route to go,where to go in italy near a beach that would be easiyish forparents to get there
or other place we could have a beach wedding
im so stressed about all this its untrue!help pleaaaase!!

    no because we are now trying to plan it round the best place for my parents to get there

    I know obviously you want your parents to be there, but just remember it is your day, and I strongly believe you should do what you and oh want. That may sound selfish, sorry, its just my humble opinion. Don't get me wrong , we didn't just get married and say - sod everyone else - its like this... we did take other peoples (ie parents, grandparents), wishes into account but at the end of the day it was our day and we had it how we wanted it (apart from the weather - but that can't be controlled eh!)

    Is it that your parents are scared of flying? Could they not do one of those simulator courses that airports run to help people get over their fear of flying?
