Need multi function oven - recommendations?

I need a new built in oven for my kitchen. My current oven is a conventional one (ie no fan) as I do a lot of cooking for which I don't want a fan, so I need a replacement on which I can turn the fan on and off.
I have been looking at what is available and it seems I need a multi function oven but they are all quite expensive and have a different range of options depending on the make and model. Can anyone recommend one at the lower end of multi functional, which is good value for money and outline what it does.
It needs to be a single oven to fit into a standard built-in oven housing.

Sorry, never heard of an option to turn fan and off...
Why do you want to do that anyway? I do a hell of a lot of cooking and have never come across a need to turn the fan off, if any , when using other ovens it was sorely missed!
Maybe a rethink?

Hi, Multifunction ovens are the way to go these days as different foods will cook better with different sources of heat in the oven. For instance, 'Bottom heat with fan' - will cook a whole quiche without the need to blind bake the pastry first as it will all cook perfectly together, therefore saving time and energy.
Multifunction ovens have a fan at the back with the standard element wrapped around this fan and then also top and bottom elements. You can then select what combination of fan and element depending on your requirments.
I would recommend a basic Neff multifunction oven B15M62 in stainless steel for around £553 or black for £529.

Fans cook things faster, but not everyone needs to cook things fast all the time. I don't. I definitely find some things cook better without a fan. A fan browns things on the outside sometimes when they are not done inside - large loaves of bread, meringues, custards etc.
Thanks for the tip about the Neff I will check it out.0 -
We got a good basic multifunction Bosch one for our guide Hall 3 years ago, but prices have increased since then. My daughter recently got a nice black glass Electrolux one from John Lewis on-line.0

I can highly recommend 'Stoves' ovens. They are very efficient and not as expensive as a number of other makes. They think about the design of the oven such as putting the lights on either side of the oven. What use is a back-lit oven when the food is in front of it?!
My mother used to have a multi function oven but we now both have the basic Stoves oven, the 600EF.
Ours is about 10 years old now and still going strong.
She does a lot of baking and is very impressed with how the basic fan oven copes with cakes, pies and roast dinners. It also has a double glass door (the inner pane comes out for easy cleaning) and a defrost function (basically a really low temperature for gently defrosting frozen food without cooking it).
Currys are doing the oven for £279.99 with free delivery at the minute:

My cakes have never been a great success since I have been using a fan assisted oven. In future I will be going back to a gas oven, I can live with the uneven heat distribution for better baking results!!Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

we have a multi function oven, i bought it 2 weeks ago from B&Q, was part of a twin pack (ceramic hob and oven) paid £289. I think it's a Zanussi, will edit later if its not.
Was cheaper to buy twin pack than to buy oven separetely (only needed oven)
It's s/steel and has plenty of functions, its a good oven, my only personal problem is that the timer only goes up to an hour and is not digital, when the timer goes off, the oven doesn't automatically turn off like my pervious oven did. But other than that, it does what it's meant to.
